Jungle Book 1996 + 2002 - the famous musical based on the story by Rudyard Kipling
Production: Tamìr Productions
Director: Hanóch Rosènn
When the elephants march, the entire forest begins to shake, the monkeys in the treetops make funny faces at the cunning snake, and the pack of wolves joins the audience. They bring with them the “man-cub” Mogli, whom they found as a baby abandoned in the jungle, and whom they’ve adopted. Together with his friends Bagira the panther and Baloo the bear, Mogli goes on adventures and faces the villainous tiger Shere Khan, who wants nothing more than to eat him for dinner. At last Mogli meets young Bana from a nearby village, and has to make the difficult decision to leave the jungle.
Known as the most successful musical during its two runs, Jungle Book adapts successfully to the world of children with high-quality songs that can be heard in nearly every household in Israel.
