Peter Pan 1988-1989
One night a young boy, who refuses
to grow up, flies into the nursery of Wendy, John and Michael Darling. His name
is Peter Pan. He takes the three children with him and leads them to an
island called Neverland where they meet the 'Lost Boys' and Captain
Hook, leader of the blood thirsty pirates. On the island they also
meet the Red Indians and their beautiful princess Lily, the tigress and
the 'ticking alligator'.
The greatest success of
the musical Peter Pan was in 1989 when Uri Paster, Hanoch Rosenn and Ilan
Gilboa wrote, directed and composed it together for the Haifa
Theater starring Hanoch Rosenn as Peter Pan. It was an
unforgettable part!
The production cost over 500,000 $ - a sum unheard of in Israel productions up
till then!
